Below
you will find a collection of verses that go into more detail on
the power of our words in our lives.
Mark 11:12-14, 20-23
"And on the next day, when they had departed from Bethany, He became
hungry. [13] And seeing at a distance a fig tree in leaf, He went to
see if perhaps He would find anything on it; and when He came to it,
He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. [14]
And He answered and said to it, "May no one ever eat fruit from
you again!" And His disciples were listening."
[20] "And as they were passing by in the morning, they saw the
fig tree withered from the roots up. [21] And being reminded, Peter said
to Him, "Rabbi, behold, the fig tree which You cursed has withered." [22]
And Jesus answered saying to them, "Have faith in God. [23] Truly
I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into
the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he
says is going to happen, it shall be granted him."
John 12:50
"And I know that His commandment is eternal life; therefore the
things that I speak, I speak just as the Father has told me."
Hebrews 11:3
"By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word
of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible."
Mark 11:23
"Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up
and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that
what he says is going to happen, it shall be granted him."
Matthew 18:18
"Truly, I say to you, whatever you shall bind on earth shall be bound
in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."
Galatians 3:26
"For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus."
Ephesians 5:1
"Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children;"
Matthew 17:20
"And He said to them, "Because of the littleness of your faith;
for truly I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you shall
say to this mountain, "Move from here to there,' and it shall move;
and nothing shall be impossible to you."
John 14:12-15
[12] Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that
I do shall he do also; and greater than these shall he do; because
I go to the Father. [13] And whatever you ask in My name, that will
I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. [14] If you ask
Me anything in My name, I will do it. [15] If you love Me you will
keep My commandments."
